Blind Schizophrenia

There is ongoing research trying to determine why the congenitally blind, blind from birth,

do not have schizophrenia.

During the progress of this site I surveyed mental health treatmet centers, psychiatrists with an Internet presence,

and a number of college psychology departments.

No one replying had memory of treating a congenitally blind peerson for panic/anxiety attacks or Bipolar Disorder.

Those individuals can have psychiatric symptom from

brain Injury, brain disease, serious inherited neurological deficits,

substance abuse, enviornment toxicty issues, and a few dietary problems.

But there are no cases of the blind from birth having correctly diagnosed mood or psychotic disorders.

Unaware of visual subliminal distraction researchers have not considered

the impossability for the completely blind to have Subliminal Distraction as the reason.
