Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria

A recent article on The Federalist by Jane Robbins, "New Evidence Indicates Cross-Sex Hormones Trigger Major Heart Problems" highlights the work of Dr. Lisa Littman.

Dr. Littman published a paper about Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria (ROGD).(1)

Assistant Professor Brown University School of Public Health

The paper is about groups of friends who decide they are transgender in rapid succession with each other.

Dr. Littman's paper suggested a psychological not a physical basis for Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria.

Unaware of mind altering visual subliminal distraction there is no mention of a testable proof.

That rapid succession of Transgender belief models Culture Bound Syndromes.

Culture Bound Syndromes are a group of mental events around the world and through history where individuals in separate cultures all experience a mental event believed locally from the same impossible causation, unique to that culture.

The event will have a local ethnic name such as Grisi Siknis in Central America.

Women and teenage girls experience an event where they believe they are being attacked by devils. An outbreak happening after hurricane Frederick suggests that it is close confinement living arrangement caused visual subliminal.

In Malaysia one Culture Bound Syndrome is Latah.

First specific to men it now happens to women. When startled the subject will perform any action commanded of them. The close confinement of Longhouses unique to the area suggests that it is an outcome of visual subliminal distraction. The switch to women happened after modern industry provided jobs away from the Longhouses and men left for employment.

Latah is a Startle Matching Behavior. believed to be a neurological condition, the behaviors happen around the world with subjects performing anything commended to them upon a startle. Because the Startle Matching happens where the conditions for Subliminal Distraction exist it is more likely an outcome of visual subliminal distraction.

A Startle Matching behavior of French Canadian lumber jacks in the 1880's it was investigated and thought to be caused by operant conditioning from the special conditions present in bunkhouses. Without knowledge of visual subliminal distraction discovered to cause mental events for office workers in 1964 investigators did not determine what the special conditions were.

This Phenomena also happens as demon possession in schools in South America.

There have been numerous news stories with pictures of students having sudden onset panic attacks with seizures while in school. The contagion spreads to others in the initial student's peer group. The stories have little information except to connect the events to a single school. They do mention the students were active on social media and use smart phones to text and make Facebook posts. The combination of sitting in class and texting on phones supplies the "special circumstances" for visual subliminal distraction. No one has investigated this potential causation. The culture in those countries support the belief of demon possession.

Tourette like seizures at LeRoy High School are another example.

Seizures resembling Tourette's began to spread among female students at LeRoy High School. Two different reasons were diagnosed, Pandas, and Conversion Disorder. Although treatments were different, psychotropic drugs for Conversion Disorder, and antibiotics for Pandas, both worked equally well. That should have alerted doctors and authorities that something else was at work.

The initial subject was taking two art classes daily. When she stopped school her symptoms stopped. Returning to school caused the same symptoms to resume. In her interview at home she was shown sitting using her computer at the open family dining table. That combination of locations with visual subliminal distraction conditions caused her symptoms. As other female students with similar exposure began to experience the effect of Subliminal Distraction they did so with the experience they expected from the first student's outcome. This project points out that the creation of the "special circumstances" for visual subliminal distraction along with enough exposure to cause the "office worker" experience of a panicked episode of confusion, sometimes so severe as to cause hallucinations, provides an explanation of Culture Bound Syndromes as well as Transgenderism as a psychiatric outcome rather than a physical one.

Long hours of computer or digital view-screen device use in locations with peripheral vision reflex causing movement nearby but without the protection given office workers, peripheral vision blocking protection, allows anyone to create visual subliminal distraction. Too close side by side seating in classrooms creates the physical situation for it but exposure is low because there is no one walking beside concentrating students.

Depression thus created is centered on the belief of being trapped in the wrong sex body.

With visual subliminal distraction, repeating subliminal but failed attempts to execute the previously consciousness-forced-blocked startle, the subliminal appreciation of threat will function as subliminal operant conditioning. Subliminal Operant Conditioning

When a student or texting cell phone user creates enough exposure to have the mental event their brain experiences a unique situation without previous incidents or experience to understand the event, supplying meaning. Instead, contemporaneous thought is reinforced by operant conditioning.

Once one group member has the experience, all the other members with enough Subliminal Distraction exposure, experience the depression and anxiety from chronic Subliminal Distraction in the same way.

"In January, researchers from the Netherlands published a study finding that therapy with cross-sex hormones can substantially increase the risks of acute cardiovascular events like heart attacks, strokes, and deep vein thrombosis. The study followed 2,517 men who were transitioning to a female appearance, with a median age of 30 and an average of nine years on hormone therapy, and 1,358 women who were transitioning to a male appearance, with a median age of 23 and an average of eight years on therapy. The transgendering men suffered more than twice as many strokes as women (29 versus 12) and nearly twice as many as non-transitioning men (29 versus 16).
