Devon Minor
An 18 year Geneva College freshman majoring in engineering vanished during a snow storm.
The Pittsburgh Tribune Review reported that Devon spent the day watching DVD's with roommates.
There was a heavy snow storm in Beaver Falls that day.
He was last seen eating French fries in the college restaurant style cafeteria.
At some point he went for a run during the snow storm wearing only his running suit but without a coat.
He did not return.
Five months later his body was found floating in the Beaver River at the Townsend Dam.
The manner of his death was drowning.
The Beaver Falls Police Department said there was no indication of foul play.
He was identified by his Geneva College student card in his sweatshirt pocket.
Over family objections his death was ruled a suicide.
The only clue that this was a visual subliminal distraction event leading to his death
is that he had posted a Facebook mention that he had a problem he did know how to deal with.
and no one could help him.
The post was quickly deleted. His family did not believe the story.
All his ID, wallet, cell and money except for his Geneva student card was left behind.
What is needed is information from roommates of how and where he studied.
Joe Morse's Georgia Tech roommate supplied a diagram of their dorm room seven years after Morse vanished. (Morse)
