Qi Gong and Kundalini Yoga Mental Breaks

Explanation of causation.

If  you visit the Wikipedia pages for Qi Gong and Kundalini Yoga you will find an explanation of the effects of both exercises as caused by powerful supernatural forces.    This is little more than a belief in magic.   Pages like that are one of the reasons that Wikipedia is nothing but a collection of poorly written seventh grade book reports.

The posters there and on other sites would have you believe that performing the exercises incorrectly, causes psychiatric symptoms.

Their belief is that mishandling the forces that created and maintain the Universe happens when you incorrectly wave your arms and legs in unison with a small group of people.

That's psychotic on its face.

Would you believe that no one in mental health has wondered why waving your arms and legs in unison with a small group of people causes a mental break?

If you do your homework you will find there is a 2400 year history of these mental breaks for QiGong, and a 3,000 similar history for them with Kundalini  Yoga.

QiGong

In both belief systems the onset of the altered mental state is claimed to be enlightenment.

Opening the third eye is the description in QiGong.

The Awakening of Kundalini is the experience from that onset in Yoga.

Typical explanations from medical authorities note that the light episode will remit when the exercise practice is halted.

None of those involved in explaining the altered mental state understands it arises from the long term consciously forced suppression of the vision startle reflex engaged by eyes open meditating to correctly perform the exercise kata.

Kndalini Yoga

The groups of moving meditating acolytes are creating the "mental break causing design mistake" design engineers discovered in 1964 when they execute the exercise.

The cubicle was designed to block peripheral vision to stop the problem in 1968.    Since then Systems Furniture has been developed so that in open plan offices no one sits, creates distracting movement, in another worker's peripheral vision .   Offices

The story of how that happened is related on the "site outline" page, HERE.

The page also is referred to as the "Letters" page. Postal mailings used the sections of this history page to communicate Subliminal Distraction to the Departments of Labor, Education, Health, NTSB, and OSHA.    Needless to say since they are unaware of Subliminal Distraction, gate keepers argued that regardless of the fifty year history of businesses like Herman Miller, Steelcase, Knoll, and Haworth the problem can't exist since the American Psychiatric Association and American Psychological Association are unaware of it.

Perform my demonstration of subliminal sight and habituation in peripheral vision to understand how exposure begins.   You will witness something vanish from sight, while you observe it in peripheral vision.          Demonstration

Unlike the theories of mental illness, Subliminal Distraction arises from using a physical situation which engages the brain in repeating subliminal undetectable failed attempts to execute the vision startle reflex.

That design mistake can be experimentally copied to show that several hours daily Subliminal Distraction exposure over successive days will begin to cause psychiatric symptoms.

Only the warning about trying to guess the experiment conditions are on site,  Warning

There is no cost to learn about Subliminal Distraction and simple precautions to prevent it are usually also FREE.
