Sunil Tripathi
Did Sunil Tripathi die because Brown University ignored a warning about a "mental break causing design mistake" engineers found and solved fifty years ago?
I wrote Brown University, and their medical school, warning them of the danger of Subliminal Distraction exposure. The president's office replied with a polite thank you note. But as far as I know nothing was done to investigate, then warn students, or to teach them how to construct safe, peripheral vision blocked study areas, and computer workstations. aka Cubicle Level Protection.
The physiology of Subliminal Distraction is not secret information. But it is not something you can pick up a book to find, or research on-line. It is taught in first semester psychology lectures about how peripheral vision reflexes are created. The mental break it can cause is rarely mentioned. My instructor only said, "Subliminal sight caused a problem in the early days of modern office design."
That reveals it is not understood as a normal but bizarre feature of everyone's physiology of sight, available to cause psychiatric symptoms when anyone creates all the "special circumstances" of the "mental break causing design mistake" engineers discovered.
Since the design problem is a physical situation, it can be replicated experimentally to show the repeating subliminal, undetectable, failed, efforts to execute the consciously blocked, suppressed, vision startle reflex causes anxiety, and depressive ideation.
Students can have light exposure for months with symptoms of depression, until a period of intense study or a large project causes longer exposure leading to the full mental break, experienced as a panic attack like episode of depression. If the hallucinations of the full mental break are of an unsolvable, unbearable outcome for a real or delusional situation a suicide is possible.
If the student survives the episode it will spontaneously remit with rest from exposure. The recovery from the manic episode will be complete but memories such as paranoid beliefs of persecution can remain.
While the experiment is safe with precautions. it is too dangerous for open publication. How exposure begins can be demonstrated safely in my demonstration of subliminal sight and habituation in peripheral vision. Here
College students are not warned. When they make the design mistake, where they study or use a computer, their long hours spent reading texts, writing school assignments, or using a computer even on social media, they create all those circumstances if there is repeating detectable movement nearby in peripheral vision.
At that time of the letters I had not developed the experiment using the "mental break causing design mistake" to produce anxiety, and depressive ideation from Subliminal Distraction exposure. (The experiment will work for anyone with full complete normal sight who can suppress the vision startle reflex,) But I did have the demonstration of subliminal sight and habituation in peripheral vision which shows how Subliminal Distraction begins subliminally, thus is undetectable. Same link for demo as above. Here
The demonstration confirms the ability to suppress the reflex. .
This is original work in psychology unavailable anywhere else.
The entire mental health services, and research establishment around the world is unaware engineers found or solved this problem of the physiology of sight everyone who ever lived had. Only the fully blind are immune.
In the entire history of man on planet Earth, it was discovered just one time.
Sunil Tripathi, a Brown University philosophy major, walked out of his apartment March 16, 2013, leaving his phone, wallet, and bike, then vanished. His body was recovered April 23, 2013 from the Seekonk River. There is a long list of these cases. The unfiltered list is Here.
He was known to be experiencing bouts of depression. He had spoken to family about it.
Sunil Tripathi's depression is an indication that he had created the design mistake explained on this site where he studied, or used his computer. This can be investigated by interviewing friends who visited his residence, or knew of his study habits.
The question to be asked is did Suni Tripathi die because Brown University ignored my warning about Subliminal Distraction?
Until I received a Facebook communication from "Help Us Find Sunil Tripathi" Community I had not connected his name with a student disappearance. Here
Page construction paused for letter to, and reply from Brown.
To understand this site and the mental break you should understand this little known problem
discovered when it caused mental breaks for office workers.
It is a normal feature in everyone's physiology of sight, explained in first semester psychology lectures on peripheral vision reflexes.
